How to fix my well water hair?

We just moved to a home with well water….BAD well water…Smells like iron and rust and it’s weighing my hair down way too much. My hair is naturally dark brown but I’ve dyed it black, which weighed my hair down enough, but now the mixture of iron water is making it so much heavier, to the point where my hair looks like I haven’t washed it in a week.It’s disgusting. We don’t have a water filter on the house but I need something to keep my hair clean and not so heavy. Help?

You might need to start using a clarifying shampoo once in a while (up to you to decide how often), this will strip your hair of all the stuff that’s in it, some of the stuff that’s hard for regular shampoo to get out. Also, see if you can get a filter put on your shower and that might do the trick.
