Is it time for megadeth to retire?

I say this because,despite being the greatest metal band of all time,time is catching up with them.2009s endgame was a step back in terms of vocals,lyrics and melody from the brilliant united abomiantions.I would like for them to just give it up after this next album they are going to release in november and become a touring band.They have already acomplished everything they needed to:proving they are better than metallica,they won that battle once and for all with the release of rust in peace.They also have proven they are thrash metals greatest band ever and have mastered not only thrash,but rock as well with youthanasia and cryptic writings(better than anything nirvana ever did).Also they are the greatest guitar band ever,the home of the prime of Dave Mustaine,Marty Friedman,Chris Poland and Chris Bodericks illustrious careers.Why should they continue to make new music and dilude their legacy like ozzy ozborne,slayer and dream theater?

Well, I don’t know. I’ll give them a chance with the new album. If it’s crap, then yeah, they can retire. Dave’s vocals aren’t too great anymore. Their songs aren’t as good as they used to be. Yeah, Endgame had a couple good songs, but not a lot. If their new album isn’t any better, then yeah, they can retire. But, I’ll give them a chance with this new album. After all, they got David Ellefson back now, and he’s pretty awesome.
