How to get rid of rust on your car?

Wondering how can I get rid of rust on my car? If I take it to a respray shop will they take the rust out and paint the car? Is there a way to get rid of rust?

yup get sandpaper, not sure wat grade, but u sand it off until theirs no more or u hit non rusted metal, by then u probably digged in a few layers usually u gota get body filler and put it over the spot u sanded so its even with the rest of the car, sand it again, and then primer, wetsand, paint.
