What type of paint should I use on my brush guard?

In a few weeks I’m going to take my brush guard off and refinish it. I plan on using a wire wheel on the drill and rust converter gel to prime the rusty spots. What type of paint should I use so that it will hold up a few years? I’ve heard appliance paint is more durable?

appliance pain will peal, especially in the cold weather. are you spraying the paint on or using a brush?, if its spray paint, or even brush paint, depends on what color your truck is, you dont want a color that will clash with the color of your truck, maybe semi-gloss black, or hotrod black would look good. try rust-olem or red devil paint, they are both good paints and you can get both in spray or brush paint.
