Rust Damage

How do I raise the body about 2″ above the frame to get at some rust spots? ?

I just want to raise the body off the frame so I can get at some rust damage on the body. Do I have to raise the whole body all at once or can I just loosen the bolts between the body and frame and just lift what I need to?. The rust spots are just above the frame and in the areas I need to get at are pretty snug.

You failed to tell us what the vehicle is . Most cars made after the mid 80`s do not have a frame that can be removed as do some vans. I usually do rust repairs from the inside of the vehicle. lot easier to remove the carpet and work from the top down than crawling under it and having crap fall in your face
