How do I stop a scratch from rusting on my car?

I have a little dent, and the paint has chipped off, but I don’t want it too get any worse. The dent looks as though a tennis ball hit it, or someone opened their car door and Boom! What should I do?

All of the above are really good answers. If you are wanting a very quick easy (and temporary) fix, try some clear finger nail polish. This will seal the affected area until you can take the time and expence to reapir it properly.
