A little rusty cast iron 10 "skillet in need of help!?

Every time I wash my cast iron skillet rust. I heard that I need for the season, but I've used quite a lot. I thought that after a few applications that would be very dry. It is not attractive to start cooking this pot when is in the oxidized state. I obviously wash the container before use and goes away, but I must say that I'm sure you can have traces of rust still there Once it is clean. I am also sure that it is a health hazard. "I can still save this pan or should I just throw that? All responses have been very good! Thanks to all who have contributed to this. One thing, if you really scroll down the sand with sandpaper or something else I can use?

Clean up, season it well, then ….. Stop washing IT! Iron is not a health hazard and is probably better for you than not. No organization can survive cooking temperatures. Clean it when you're done, give it a light coating of vegetable oil from time to time and stores it in the oven.
