50$ rustoleum paint job with a twist?

from what i read this trend of rolling over the counter paint really works looking to do it soon , but i wanted to use quality single stage automotive paint possible with flakes or candy paint , anyone ever done this? not sure if thinning automotive paint 50/50 with thinner is worth the trouble , if anyone has links or knowledge on this would greatly appreciate it .

thats what you are supposed to do with paint, (depending on how good a pain gun you have, and you need to add a hardener too, but mainly it sounds like a good way to waste expensive paint, and cops profile young people in crappy looking cars, all primered up, or differnet colored fenders and doors, nothing says dope smoking pill popper like a 100 dollar car to a cop. Most people save thier money and have a car painted nice. good luck.
