Electronic Rust Protection Car

How often the sprayed non-electronic rust protection should be for a car?

Hello,

I have a Nissan Altima 1999. I had the the rust protection for all the car using petroleum based sprayed material twice for the last 2 winters. I am in a cold country where snow salt on the roads is used all winter long. How often and when I should have this protection done? Thanks

id have it checked every year ,but it shouldn’t be necessary to have this done al the time,they usually warranty it for life time,but it doesn’t hurt to check it every year and see if any has peeled off or been knocked off,i check mine about every 3 years and im in the south,it doesnt hurt to recoat it once in a while your self,they make the small cans that work really well,good luck.
