$50 Rustoleum Paint Job

ok so i am about to paint my truck and need your input?

ok so i just got a project truck only cost $150 bucks and hey the thing runs not great but dose and has nice dual exhaust with glass packs. i check most everything else like checked for rust ect.. its all good or at least a good start. now when i got it it was all primer black i have know idea how long its been like that ( a good while by the chips ect.. ) but it thing i am going to paint it this weekend. its a 1978 and the body is in good shape.

now my question i want this new paint job to cost less that $50. sence its already primed sould i just sand that and maybe touch some places up then paint? or sould i sand then re primer the whole thing? and i have been looking in to these rustoleum role on paint jobs and thoughts on those guy?

i am thinking about just taking like some 400 grit papar to the primer thats there the when everything looks nice and even and clean roleing on some black rustoleum? that sound like it would do fine?

You could roll on rustoleum for $50 dollars…

But do not expect great results…

Maybe someday you will invest in a good sprayer.. and spray that baby down with some quality automotive paint.
